About Me
From childhood I’ve had a knack for fixing things. Growing up on a farm was a fertile environment for raising a budding handyman! My enjoyment of developing and honing new skills continues to this day.
My experience in the trades and service industry started in 1985. I began in a plumbing related field, then partnered with my dad as a framing subcontractor to serve a variety of General Contractors building new homes. In addition to new homes, I added home renovation, the duties of a working Field Superintendent and all-around right-hand man for a General Contractor lasting nearly a decade. He has remained a mentor throughout my life.
This led to a construction management position for a non-profit where I coordinated a variety of talented professionals and contractors to renovate and construct new homes. Having experience in the field I would occasionally fill the gaps in talent or schedule with my own skills. From a career in construction, I understand the details of how your home is put together and how to deliver your home projects to a professional standard.

The most common question asked when a person sees one of my latest creations, “Are you an engineer?”
